Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to the Scopevera website and private-preview features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Effective and last updated July 23, 2026

Scopevera is a developing private-preview product. It is not an official government or military program, and it does not guarantee employment, interviews, compensation, career fit, or any other outcome.

Eligibility and acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms, or use Scopevera with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where permitted. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

Independent service

Scopevera is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, USAJOBS, any military branch, or any other government agency. References to third-party programs, agencies, or employers are descriptive only.

Educational transition support only

  • Scopevera provides educational career-exploration, planning, organization, and experience-translation tools.
  • Scopevera is not a recruiting agency, staffing company, employer, educational institution, credentialing body, law firm, financial adviser, medical provider, therapist, or crisis-support service.
  • Assessment results and career directions are hypotheses to investigate, not professional diagnoses, promises, eligibility determinations, or instructions to pursue a specific career.
  • You are responsible for independently verifying job requirements, compensation, licensing, certifications, benefits, employer information, application materials, and career decisions.

Artificial intelligence and automated guidance

Scopevera Guide uses an external AI provider to summarize information, explain patterns, draft language, and suggest possibilities. When you send a Guide request, you direct Scopevera to transmit your question and a minimized subset of relevant account content to that provider as described in the Privacy Notice. You can use other Scopevera features without sending a Guide request.

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or inappropriate for your circumstances. Core career decisions remain yours, and important information should be reviewed by qualified people and authoritative sources. Scopevera will show proposed profile changes for your review and will not apply them until you approve them.

No employment or other guarantee

Scopevera does not guarantee employment, interviews, offers, compensation, promotion, security-clearance outcomes, admission, certification, mentor availability, or career satisfaction. Outcomes depend on factors outside Scopevera’s control, including your actions, qualifications, market conditions, employers, agencies, and third parties.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload or enter classified information, controlled unclassified information, export-controlled material, another person’s confidential information, or highly sensitive medical, financial, or identity records.
  • Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape at unreasonable scale, impersonate another person, or use Scopevera for unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, or harmful activity.
  • Do not rely on Scopevera as the sole source for urgent, safety-critical, legal, medical, financial, or employment decisions.

Your content and account

You retain ownership of information and content you enter. You grant Scopevera a limited permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Notice. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and rights associated with your content and for protecting your account credentials and devices.

Scopevera intellectual property

The Scopevera name, logo, website, software, designs, text, organization, and other service materials are owned by Scopevera or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms provide a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal, noncommercial transition planning. No other rights are granted.

Third-party services and links

Third-party sites, job listings, government resources, mentors, employers, and integrations are controlled by others. Scopevera does not endorse or control them and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, policies, or conduct. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.

Service changes and account action

Scopevera may modify, suspend, or discontinue preview features and may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance, or misuse. Because this is a preview, features and data structures may change and service interruptions may occur. Export important information and do not treat the service as your only record.

Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCOPEVERA IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, OR RESULTS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCOPEVERA AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, OR CAREER OR EMPLOYMENT DECISIONS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED REMAIN UNAFFECTED.

Governing terms and changes

Applicable law depends on Scopevera’s operating entity, place of organization, your location, and mandatory consumer protections. Entity name, governing-law venue, dispute resolution, and any paid-service terms must be finalized by qualified counsel before commercial launch. Scopevera may update these Terms prospectively; continued use after notice of a material change constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
